Woodhaven is located just fifteen miles from the Idaho Panhandle border, in northwestern Montana. This stunning property is nestled in the wilderness of the Cabinet Mountain range. Nearby is the town of Noxon, a small rural community, with a population of about 500.  Fifty miles from the resort town of Sandpoint, ID, you'll enjoy one of the most scenic drives in the northwest along Idaho’s Lake Pend Oreille.  Noxon is 100 miles from Glacier National Park, the Jewel of the North American continent, and one of the most abundant wildlife and recreational areas in the west. With many winter sports and two ski resorts within a day's drive you will never lack for outdoor activities.  A day's drive can include a trip to several Canadian resorts.

Woodhaven is located on 20 acres of private wooded land. Larch, cedar, aspen, fir and pine abound in your own forest. The property is adjacent to another 20 acre parcel available as an option to buy. A long driveway provides you with complete privacy from the county road.

More about Noxon

Noxon is part of Sanders County, a large county with just under 10,000 residents and still considered "frontier" by the federal government.  The county seat is Thompson Falls, Montana about 35 miles east on Highway 200. Over 85% of the area is Forest Service land with only 11 percent of land held in private holdings. Noxon is located between two mountain ranges on the Clark Fork River. The town itself comprises a mercantile store, hardware supply, post office, and two taverns. The Noxon School draws students from the neighboring towns of Heron and Trout Creek and is the hub of energetic team sports.

Summer days are long and warm, with late evening sunsets. Spring and fall are favorites with an abundance of color. And if you love winter sports, the property is open to cross country skiing on old logging roads, and downhill skiing is available at Mt. Schweitzer in Sandpoint, an hour’s drive away.
